Frequently asked questions
Does this handle multiple sheets?
Yes. Every sheet in your workbook is converted, each as its own labeled table in the resulting PDF — and the reverse direction gives you back one sheet per PDF page.
Will my formulas come through?
Excel → PDF uses each formula's last-calculated value, since a PDF has no concept of live formulas. PDF → Excel only ever produces plain values too, since a PDF never contains formulas to begin with.
Why did PDF → Excel come back with the wrong columns?
Column detection is based on where text sits on the page, which works best for clean, grid-style tables. Unusually spaced or merged-cell tables, or plain multi-column text, can throw off the column boundaries — you may need to tidy up the result manually in that case.
Is my file ever uploaded?
No, both conversion directions run entirely in your browser. Files are never uploaded anywhere.
Is there a file size limit?
No hard file-count or file-size limit is enforced — very large or complex files are limited only by your device's available memory, since everything is processed locally.
