Frequently asked questions

Can I start numbering from something other than 1?

Yes — set "Start at" to any number, including 0. The first page will show that number and count up from there.

Can I show "Page X of Y" style numbering?

Yes, choose the "1 of N, 2 of N…" format, which includes the total page count on every page.

Will this overwrite existing content on the page?

The number is drawn in the margin area at your chosen corner/edge position, so it shouldn't overlap normal page content unless your document already has content very close to that edge.
